1. Simplified Entry Process
Travelers no longer need a COVID-negative report or e-permit to enter Uttarakhand. The mandatory 2-day prior booking restriction for tourists has also been lifted.
2. Quarantine Rules
Tourists from high-load COVID-infected cities and international travelers must undergo 7 days of institutional quarantine, followed by 7 days of home quarantine.
If you’ve completed a COVID test within 96 hours before arrival and tested negative, you’re exempt from quarantine.
3. Safe Stay for All Tourists
Hotel management is required to inform district administrations immediately if any guest is found COVID-positive. This ensures the safety of everyone during their stay.
